View Full Version : Less Savage Weekend SPIN??
Not working Sat so wondering if anyone up for 10am spin on Sat.
I'm easy on location but first thought of Glen of Downs and surrounding area.
Anyone??
PS: Im also hoping for fun spin on Sunday... Martin??
I'm up for a Sunday 10am spin - not particularly fussed where. Did 3 laps of Kindlestown last weekend but didnt do GOTD. Will happily go back.

I think I'd be up for Sunday schpin if it's on.
Don't mind where yiz go but Djouce is usually an easy enough one (well the trails I've been on anyway!) and Martin knows it well - if we can coax him out again that is! ;)

Let me know what's planned and I'll update the calendar. I'll probably be back out on the road....

here is the plan:-
all this talk of racing has caught on in the club so the plan:-
Kindlestown
Time 10am Sunday
Laprs 2/3 laps
Atire :- Lycra only no baggys
Banned:- Camelbaks and peaks on mtb helmets
Pace:- Race? lets give it a go
Bike:- HT heaven or light sus!
Following a bit of exertion we can then head over to the GOTDs and do a bit of a loop or two there on star wars and the tunnel!
Again people baggies and peaked helmets will be not allowed on the spin ! ;-)
The emphasis will be on how many of us feel up to sports class racing this year or higher!
I'm on for giving sports a bash this year (but the look at the mad sports racers make me fear being lapped)

PS deep fried powerbars will be on sale from my car and some energy drink i got in Poland on a business trip last week! LETHAL stuff!

great bit of fast (as if) paced spin up in kindlestown. 5 out and we had a blast! never seen so much lyrca it was like an eddie van halen concert!
quote of the day was "i can feel my pulse in my ear" from Liam on the 3rd lap at break neck speed!
spill went to Ben and best after spin snack went to me!
was great and it interested to see how fast we all actually are! 3 non stop laps flat out more or less killed us! hit 181 on my hr meter on the climbing switchbacks!
anyone interested, kindlestown is bonedry and fast (a few fallen trees however)
week after next 3 rock loops! bring on the pain!
