Anywhere to rent a mountain bike for a day with some good riding around it? I plan on touring some of the country by bike this summer and would cater my itinerary to locations I could rent a mountain bike if there are any such places. Thanks

There's a guy doing rentals near Ballinastoe too - can't remember his name but he knows Ollie from kayaking - maybe he'll know.

There is a guy who works over in Blessington called Brian Keogh who runs an outdoor center. They have a fair amount of Lappiere bikes but I am not sure if he rents them out of just uses them for his outdoor center. Probably worth looking at there site at http://www.totalexperience.ie/ and giving him a call.

Hi guys,

Do those guys who are selling Barrys tea and puncture repair kits outside the gates of Ballinastoe rent bikes, Does anyone have a number for them, any idea of prices. One of the guys from work (Hi Ben) was think of giving Ballinastoe a go before the race on sunday and he doesn't have a bike.

P.S. is the race on Sunday on the same route as the normal track.

Regards

Eoin

if by normal track you mean the new purpose built trails there then no, it will mostly be using the old tracks there as far as i'm aware.

as for the tea sellers, no idea
