Anybody found any especially deadly bike grips lately? I've only ever had the stock cheapo Giant lockon ones so something more comfortable would be preferable. They have to be white but that's the only condition :)
*The clipe-y-est question ever posted here?
I put these on my Lapierre recently, seriously top notch and are available in white also...

I've ODI Yeti's on the Cube and Ruffian's on the XTC (also used by Lance A on his Trek (http://mos.bikeradar.com/images/news/2008/09/18/Lance_Armstrong%27s_Trek_Top_Fuel_9.8_grip-850-65.jpg)) - class grips but they don't come in in your requested colour...
However, the Da Bomb Holy Sh*t Grips do come in blinding white. (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=16098)

I think these ones are good: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24772
And they are really cheap for lock ons too.

another vote for lockon odi yeti's
super gnarl..
find them great, even when they get mucky, really come into their own on step ups and trick booters
trick booters
What???
I know I'm not down with the lingo of the young hip people, but what on earth is a TRICK BOOTER?

i find that the width (circumference) of a lot of the grips varies quite a bit. Had a set of lizard skin lock ons (Northshore i think) and they were really wide, and made my hands really tired/cramp up on longer/rougher descents. ODI ruffians are a lot smaller and easier to hang onto .. but not so cushiony

Hmmmm all very interesting. I noticed Morgan and Ryan running those foamy grips. What are they like? They seem lovely but do they not get horrible when they're wet and keep your gloves moist for the whole spin? I'd consider non lock on grips if someone could promise me they wont slip off on a wet day.

i can loan you a set of the ruffian lock ons to try .. they're black but they'll give you an idea if you need / want something wider.
those foam yokes are only for the weight obsessed if you ask me (sorry Ryan!!)

Thanks for the offer Paddy but I think I'll go for the Holy Shit ones. They appeal to me for their name, white-ness and lack of moistness riskage.

I had the foam grips as well..changed them after a few spins as they were not very good. Morgan didn't keep them long either
Lizard Skins charger lock ons or normal.
Nice and grippy, comfortable and not too wide in lock on version. Found the normal slide on ones bit chunky.
Come in a lovely white 2 need a good scrub after a muddy day tho.

I love a good scrub I do....
Don't forget to test the grip in question with your gloves, the friction coefficient between the two is vital, great grips with mediocre gloves will result in problems, ditto lousy grips and good gloves. Also be careful, very good grips and great gloves can result in the inability to release your hands from the bars. Whatever you do don't forget to put grease inside the grips when you mount them, it makes it easier, then suck on the bar ends to remove any excess grease, just don't get caught doing this by the misses, she won't believe the explanation.

Yeti's are the schnizzle, (yes, I've been listening to Snoop Dogg) very comfy and sticky, like the couch in Barry Danzig's student hovel.....

Anyone have any opinions/experience with the egonomic grips (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=19849), are they any good or just a total waste?
