Another option for tomorrow (Saturday)...
Taylors 10am for a spin around the Three Rock trails. Emphasis will be on fun and trying out difficult lines and fast and daring manoeuvres. No baiting up hills, but plenty baiting down.

This is going to be really good. Some time away from the skinny bike and all her tubeless woes!

Got a soaking today on Three Rock. Well worth it though - did all the usual trails including Rock and Roll, Boneshaker, No Dabs, Satellite Run, Old club course etc. Had a new short stem fitted on my Slayer and it makes a huge difference - much easier to lift the front end more responsive steering for tight downhill single track.
It was good having a change from the skinny carbon bike - ramping everything and taking the roughest lines just for fun.
Finished up with the Boneshaker right to the bottom, unfortunately Steve punctured but it was near the end so not too bad for him.
I'm just in from my spin. I don't think I have a seen a day like today when it consistantly rained all day - didn't stop once - not even for a second... Damn, I'm still freezing after it :(

Very very wet indeed. Good to get out on the big bike alright, just throw the travel into bottomless puddles and watch it eventually jump back out again- nice. Still wouldn't trade the hardtail for anything though. Lets hope this weather starts improving for next week!
