howdy all,
just a quick note to say we're looking for yet another impressive MAD presence at this weekends race.
I'm trying to co-ordinate the marquee situation at present, we'll also need people to bring along their fold-up chairs so we can chill-out/huddle before & after the race in the tent/marquee.
I'd also urge anyone who has spare jerseys to bring them along for the people who do not have theirs as yet (apologies for the delay in the jersey ordering process by the way, the latest status on the gear order will be posted by Sean later).
I have one for Richie, he'll likely want th elong sleeve one to cover his farmers freckles, also have a gilet, a large short sleeve, and large wife-beater style jerseys, I'll only be wearing one of them.
If anyone wants a lend gimme a shout.
Looking forward to seeing a big MAD racing contingent again on Sunday.
I'll very likely be up there on Sat for practice, so will have all licences
with me on both days.
Never mind about the weather forecast - once you're 5 mins into your race you'll be grand, a bit of cooling sleet on the climb will be just what you need!
Remember plenty of warm gear for straight after your race!!
Flask o' soup would put a big grin on your face too...
