Hi All,

Couple of my lads are looking to get more involved in MTB'ing,

I would like to organise a regular spin for the younger members,

(or progeny of members.

Anyone else out there with a few whipper-snappers who would like to follow in the glory of their parents legendary exploits??

(they're my kids so I can lie to them about my daring escapades on the bike!)

I would figure on doing a regular saturday and occasionally an evening midweek spin, ages 10+?, however as I might not be available to spin on these all the time it would be nice to share the duties.

your comments etc on a postcard to........,

No,seriously anyone who might be interested let me know. Also I'm curious about membership of MAD and CI for said juniors?

I'll post something similar over on EPIC'S site aswell.

Hi Shane - I think this is a good idea. However my youngsters aren't able to cycle yet.

It would be worth reading through this beforehand:

Cycling Ireland membership (http://www.madmtb.com/club-rides/racing-guide/race-licence-information/) / race licence is only a fiver for riders under 14.

Thanks

I've downloaded some guidelines, spent a few years co-managing both young fellas soccer teams so have an idea whats involved,

essentially I just want to give them an opportunity to get out MTB'ing themselves

So come on any one out there with kids or younger brothers/sisters?

Shane.

if no one else speaks up i'll be willing to 'spread the seed' and then getetically alter my spawn to grow to age 14 really fast so they can join you ;)

Yes, but they're not cute - they're savage beasts.

I met them once - they're totally looney Mel - hoppin' and leppin' and skippin' all over the place, cute things for sure, though one of them has a bit of a wind problem....

what is it their names are again....oh yes, Titty and Peep I think,

Titty is the really small one, or is it Titsy, or Titchy or something,

anyway, you should see him trying to play-fight the bigger one, tough and tenacious for his size!

Morgan would gladly loan them to you for a weekend in exchange for you showing him how to ride a bike around a forest properly....

Very funny Mr. Secretary but it's only a matter of time until I'm awesome once again...

Liam - yes, it's some kind of midget
