I dented/kinked my rear rim during todays spin. Must have clatered a rock, Doh!!
Anyway, can it be straightened with a pliers etc, or will I have to take it to the menders? Any opinions.....
Not sure - could be cracked or stressed and trying to straighten it might make it worse. Not that I've any experience in this matter (ahem! ;))
If it's not that bad, and isn't wrecking havoc with your tubeless tyres, I'd almost be tempted to leave it as is.
BUT, if'n I was to suggest how you might do it, with the caveat that I'm not telling you do it it, just suggesting how it might be done, the flat jaws of an adjustable wrench would be better than the profiled jaws of a pliers. Try to make the contact area as big as possible to prevent folding little sections of the rim, and do it little by little.
Jus' saying like...
Give James in OC a shout I'd say.

Sean...It is effecting the tyre, it deflated it straight away. But thanks, I'll try the adj. spanner.
Phil... I was thinking that myself!

That happened to mine while over in France. Took the adjustable spanner method to it and it did it fine. They're supposed to be bullet proof rims you have Conor so should handle it no problem!
