It sounds great - wonder what the course is like?

I'm a bit concerned by this bit:

There is very limited space for parking so we have organized a bus which will transfer you and your gear from the town of Newport into the wild where you will set up camp ready for the race ahead.

They probably just want to get loads of people into the middle of nowhere and then turn them into burgers.

That really is a pain, the carlingford marathon last year had some amazing single track on it

I'd love to do this. Sounds like Mountain Mayhem but in proper mountains!

This sounds like a really well conceived race and I for one will be there! Well done guys its about time that someone in Ireland had the balls to sort a decent race out in a great country.
