Well it was my first time on the bike after 6months and even longer since I was out with the club, but yesterday marked my return to biking. Man do I feel sore today, I fell, alot and walked and puffed and panted and cursed and wondered what the hell I was doing with my Sunday morning, but in the end it felt good.

The trails in Djouce are amazing, even when walking, the next time hopefully I'll spend more time on the saddle, although the way my arse feels today I think I was sitting on a piece of sharp stone.....

But BIG thanks to Stevie, he picked me up in the van, drove us down to Djouce, then waited VERY patiently for me, everywhere, up and down hill and then shipped me off home again.

So hello all, hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be out on proper spins again and the fitness will sort itself out.

Cheers Markie

good man Mark

great to see hear you are on the wheels again - it won't be long before your form returns and the big jaunts to Powerscourt will seem like a walk in the park...

Welcome back Mark!

And fair play to Steve for easing you back into it, he's a keeper!.... I have been very busy of late and haven't biked in about a month so I may do a very gentle spin somewhere tommorrow evening if your around. I was sorry I missed that one on Sunday it would have been ideal, anyway see you guys soon.
