Hi,

I am currently using a 2005 marazocchi bomber MX Comp XC fork on my bike. I have tried to stiffen up the suspension but to no avail. The fork suposingly has one side air and the other a coil. However there are two air valves on the top of the fork (one on each stem). Is it possible to stiffen up the travel and even lock out the fork completely. If so how is this done?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Kenny

Hey Kenny, sounds like you're a little confused there. The MX Comp ETA had one side spring but the Pro version was dual air i believe.

You should be able to download a manual from the manufacturers website which will tell you how to adjust it. Don't just blindly follow the pressures they list though, you generally want about 20% sag on the fork as a starting point and then add or remove air as you wish.

Thanks paddy,

Yep I was pretty sure I'd get the model of it wrong. Both sides defo have an air valve at the top for sure so it must be the Pro version. I bought my bike new but wasn't happy with the shocks that came with it so asked the shop to upgrade them. Thats how I ended up with these. Have to say I'm a complete novice so don't know a whole lot about them .

Thanks again for the info. I'll try to find the manual on the marazocchi website.

Cheers
