View Full Version : Club Gear
...is now (finally) on its way.
It went into production on Tuesday in Portugal and the lead-in time is 4-5 weeks.
Apologies for the delay, there were some issues in getting the new design together, but I think once you see the new masterpiece, you will agree that it was worth it. Members who were around 3 years ago will remember we had similar problems then, getting our current kit sorted, but it was all good in the end.
Thanks to FARMHAND (http://www.farmhand.ie) for coming on board as club sponsor.
Money
Thanks to those who paid promptly and allowed us to get the deposit paid (€3000)
I will be contacting everyone else shortly to arrange payment.
ALL MONEY MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE GEAR IS HANDED OVER.
Missed out? Don't worry...
For those who missed the boat on this order of new gear, we'll start arranging a second order in June.

Should we show the new design or will it be a surprise?

show it, show it!
Surprise. Definitely.
I've arranged a bevy of beautiful women (and a token male, for those inclined that way) to model it at the official press release. It would be a shame to gazump this wonderful PR event by showing off the kit beforhand.
(which in actual fact means, I can't remember how to upload a picture.)

Probably explains Morgans Park Tools apron, flashy bike, fort knox bike shed, cinema-like PC monitor, AND the diamond encrusted dog collars for his pooches ;-)
Well, against my better judgement, here goes...
Ah feck it!

Yep with that "fist of fury", we'll just hit the riders out of the way during race season. Now where did I put my crowbar .........

ciaran it's all about improvising, rather than bring a crowbar with you during a race, just fit a powerlink to your chain for easy removal, then during a race whip it off and use it to beat the other competitors.
think of the weight savings when compared to bringing a crowbar along with you.
can't wait for the mad overshoes, they will be both practical and stylish.
