That was absolutely awesome! Got right up next to him for a good few laps. He regretfully turned down my invitation to the Epic race on Thursday but informed me he can't wait to get home and mtbing again. He thinks Sean Kelly is one of the all time greats too. Absolutely buzzing! Look out for me on the news! Pictures to follow

Was savage alright, wish I had a racer for it though, was tough going trying to keep up on the mountain bike, even with the slicks. Brilliant atmosphere all the same, apparently over 1000 people turned up!!

Yeah well spotted Barry, was pretty epic cycling along with that many people surrounding you. Fair play to scrivo having a chat with Lance, closest i got was about a shoulder width from him
