View Full Version : Winter Gloves
Hello folks,
Can anyone recommend a good winter glove? Warmth/Waterproof and something relatively thin are on the wishlist….I don’t mind spending a bit of cash as I really hate the cold!! I have checked CRC but want to see what you guys would recommend before I buy.
Muchas gracias

661 Storms. They're the sweet.
Altura do a "shield" winter glove that is Waterproof and fairly warm, Sealskins gloves are also very warm and waterproof. Problem with the Altura one is that you have to remove your hand carefully to stop the lining getting pulled out and they're difficult to get back on with damp hands, problem with the Sealskins ones is that whatever material they use stinks after use (wife insists on them being left in the shed) !

Tesco bags over welding gloves
or
these (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Pearl_Izumi_Gavia_Winter_Gloves/5360038027/)
I've found these to be excellent

Definitely water proof, very warm, a bit too warm for mild weather like now.
Thanks for the input lads,
I might give the welding gloves a miss……a bit too hardcore for me. :)
The 661's and Pearl Izumi Gavia are discontinued.
