Theres one like that along the N3 near the half way house, not much in the way of lighting and a great big pole in the middle of the cycle lane, even the sign on the pole is quite low

Fergal should do a side line in designing cycle lanes...then we would really appreciate what an obstacle in the cycle constitutes
That looks suspiciously SE Asian...
How are your negotiation skills Phil? ;)

It will require all my negotiation skills to convince Paddy to cross such an obstacle;)

What sort of an engineer are you downey .. if that was SE Asian it'd be made of bamboo and there'd be crocodiles and other nasty yokes waiting down below to eat you if you fell off.
And fergal, you've been mentioning these ladyboys a lot lately .. how's married life treating you?

I'm only concerned for your sexual integrity abroad Paddy - you know how easy you are with a few pints in you...

Haha. Nearly every cycle lane around Dublin could make it into this. Some sections on the N11 are particularly bad - I'd find it hilarious except I have to actually cycle down them regularly.
Don't know if I posted this before: http://www.itsnotarace.org/
It makes commuting by bike a little more interesting. My FCN is 4 by the way.
This could get interesting..FCN of 9
