A few of us newbies had so much fun on Sat we are heading up to 2 rock Tuesday, say 19.15 in the carpark.

phil, you're better parking outside the entrance otherwise you may get your cars locked in.
In fact, better still is to park at taylors and cycle up!!
(or does that bring back painful memories?)
Hey Martin,
Will do. CAn anyone give me directions though, so I can find it on Google Earth?
Thanks,
G

gogs was lashing down the dh bit in masseys on sat without any back break! hardcore or what!! brakes, who needs em!!
think it was just the cable getting stretched. only got the bike a few weeks ago so I'll be bringing it back for a free replacement before the next outing!
Thanks for the directions!
G
Paddy, we shall never speak of that day again!
Good point though, would be a shame to miss out on a run down the boneshaker(and that I would defintely not do without back brakes).

the lad on the red and white trek (rather nice bike) was interested in 3 rock on Tuesday, anyone got his name / email?
Dont know, there are 3 lads going besides me,
Ronnie - English guy dark hair not sure of his bike.
David - white hair and beard not sure of his bike either.
PJ - Red hair think he was on a blue giant.
I assume our mystery rider is none of the above..

not sure phil, there was a large crowd out on sat! I've bumped into him a fair few times on spins! he's up 3 rock a fair bit!
think Taylors for 7 and 7:15 for those not up for the climb up at Ticknock?
I must profess my ignorance here.. Taylors as in Taylors 3 rock pub ?
I have arranged to meet the other 3 lads at Total Fitness at 7 cause a couple of the guys dont know how the way to 3 rock (the blind leading the blind methinks)

Phil, i think meeting at a pub is better .. Total Fitness jsut gives the wrong impression of the club!
What was I thinking!
Well I will meet the other lads as arranged so nobody gets lost and start from Taylors at 7.15 if that suites all

Might see you up there at some stage. The temptation is proving too much. Now to figure out how to mount my Irish past papers to the bar.

jasus three rock was full of mad heads tongiht! even a gang of beginners powered there way up to the ariels!
nice spin out for me from city centre, up kilmaseogue (i like the LSC) - over to the ariles and then a bit of the club course - a bit sore form the weekend! so called it a night there - blast down the boneshaker and back into town to collect me car and head for home!

There were so many people out tonight the trails were getting congested!!
It has been a long long time since I have seen three rock so dry.

Had a sweet spin... Did my hill repeats and then rode KDM which was just heaven and then headed upto to the club course. Saw every man and there dog but rode the main trails a little later so not so many people around.
Yep bone dry up there dont even have to clean the bike tonight.
Mind you one of the lads with us, Ronnie, still managed to find a large puddle of mud to go through and get a puncture!
Yeah, if there's a mucky puddle anywhere I'm guna find it! Is anyone up for another tuesday night (20th) jaunt up 3rock again. Looks like there are plenty trails up there. Same time 7-7:15pm at Ticknock
I'll see you up there at the ticknock carpark tomorrow at 7 - 7.15 Ron,
was up there this evening with a couple of lads doing some trail clearing plenty of trails hidden away up there to be sure.
I dont think PJ can make it tomorrow, ill text Dave.
Any other takers ?? go on you know you want to!

Thanks,
Good stuff, see you there Phil.
Gogs, I'm coming up from Cherrywood and got no idea where crumlin is. Being a newbie I havn't got myself a bike rack either yet. Just a bike tub cover to keep the mud off the inside of the car. Can anyone else help Gogs out?
