Does anyone know is Chain Reaction usually has a January Sale?

From what I can see, everyday is a sale on CRC. That extra 10percent thing was special. Anything you're looking at wont be more expensive in Jan anyways!

UK VAT rate goes bak to 17.5 % in Jan too!

2.5% increase in prices.

Last year I was waiting for a CRC January sale to pick up a few new bits, but the sale wasn't an across the board thing at all - all the bits I was lookin to buy stayed the same price.

Noticed that Wiggle had up to 15% off over the weekend too.

I'm waiting on money back from a ebay dispute (never got the item and seller won't answer any emails from ebay, paypal or myself). Unfortunately, paypal will have to give the seller until 22nd to reply, so thats the earliest I'll see the money back... :mad:

I think I'll ring them to see when they're open between then and the new year. That way I could have 'Heather' up and running before the spin on the 3rd!

Rename?! Never thought of that. For me this is a trend that started with friends naming guitars. They had 'Cindy' and 'Claudia' and I always happy to be different called mine 'Betsie' (as in the prize cow).

I think the old bike was Betsie#5, but this time I thought we'd have to go for something more sexy. I was thinking call her 'Halle (Berry)' but for some reason 'Heather (Graham)' just kept coming to mind. Apt in a mountainy sence too...

I'm sure you told me why you called her Dorris but I've forgotten???
