Trails in Ballinascorney?

Anyone know if there are any good trails worth trying around Ballinascorney.

there was a dh track in there. imbrc ran a race in there last year. but there is xc trails just down the road in slade valley. last time i was there they were in awful condition from scrambler's but its worth a try .

Yeah, the place got trashed by MX'ers after the winter league last year. Slade is worth a trip out though.

I want to try somewere new so im going to try Ballinascorney over the weekend.
Is that downhill track easy to find.

to find the DH track

after going in the gate at the main road, following the fireroad for about half a k, you cross a bridge over a river, follow the fireroad up and it sweeps around to the left, take the left turn off and the end of the track is immediately on your right

the track gets very wet and mucky, a lot of it wouldn't be any fun on an XC bike..

Conor, can't believe we did that race on high rollers, savages :D

there's also a good few new trails just put in in the hellfire club .
imbrc are meeting there on saturday the 16th @10am for a beginner spin if you wanna tag along and check them out .
