so, as i'm doing no biking whatsoever in the Belge I decided to take my running a bit more seriously. This morning I went hillrunning for the first time since the Annacurragh Adventure Challenge yoke last summer. There's a lovely castle/fort place called Citadelle de Namur about 5 minutes from my house. They do the odd DH race up there too, so it's pretty steep. I was descending a bit too quickly and went over on my left ankle. It resulted in the following -

Not at all - mountain running is the biz, but yes descending too quickly can do that do you so tis all about maintaining a pace you can manage! Of course some say the faster you run the less likely you are going to injure yourself, a bit like "speed is your friend on the bike" but as yet I am unconvinced on both points! ;)
Seeya out on the hills! :)

Nigel, most likely you have not mastered the waving-your-hands-in-the-air-like-a-maniac-for-balance trick...

if you don't have hair on your feet then you're a lady, or a roadie!
