I'm not going sneaky training if you see me up 3rock this eve.
It's lovely and sunny and my head is full of SQL programming code thus it's therapeutic spin time
I'm also going to be scouting to add new trail sections to rock n roll and the old MAD CC - get your lopper sharpened, there'll be a lot of work coming to a blog post near ye soon!!

get off that frickin' internet lads, it's no good for ye - filling your heads with mad northshore fantasies - sure look at what happened to MADjestic after I watched one too many bike-porn videos....death by chainsaw - an awful way to go...
On the subject - I looked at those monster jumps up by KDM - terribly scary and ridiculous with no landing off the 2nd one - I couldn't get my head around them,
made the TToT look like frickin' matchstick!
unlike ourselves, those guys in those links ye posted have limitless supplies of:
-money
-wood
-skilled carpenters with deadly nail guns
-approved land to build on
-the bikes, skills and nerve to ride the stuff
..so we'll stick to the classic singletrack for now until we can tick all those boxes....
Hey - I'm pretty sure I saw Oisin Fitz out training tonight without a pass, wasn't sure who else I'd seen, thing there was another MAD jersey mooching around rock n roll...you lads better watch it - double membership fees in 2009 for anyone I catch...triple if you have the gall to be seen on a roadbike....
I must have tried the 2nd KDM switchback 10 times tonight - couldn't get the fecker - damn it, so I dug-up the whole side of the hill in rage!
Hah - that'll show him!
In other news, the section I was scoping out has definite singletrack potential, but no exit from it, and there's a fat-ass swamp in it, I need a volunteer to wade thru the swamp to see how deep it is - a light lad who won't sink, maybe young Howie, or maybe a small female beginner from tomorrow hhmmmm...yesssss....we'll see...

i think the corsonater would be perfect for the swamp wading duties...or xc racer sean...
as for not being out on the bike, exams are my excuse.

only one exam left...and its economics...so i think the technical digging and advanced carpentry will have to be an elective!
