Not sure if that's the old Kilmashogue route or the new rerouted-because-some-rich-dude-managed-to-buy-half-the-hillside-previously-owned-by-the-state route.

I think we should start club races up it! Once every six weeks or so would be nice.

enough of us had garmins on tuesday so we can dig out the info and there is always tonight
I did the hill climb TT on the new course (and set the new record) last year as part of a Team Worc club race. I wrote some stuff about it here: http://ryansherlock.blogspot.com/2009/06/2009-kilmashogue-hill-climb.html
I hear Epic are going to run the hill climb the week before their first club race - it would be great to have a huge group doing it in one go - lots of folks of all speeds. It is not too long of a climb and it is great to have people around you to push yourself on!

I'm hoping to make this. Came off the road bike (devil bike...) on Tuesday going round a roundabout. Took a nice graze down my leg which has started killing me this afternoon. I have to cycle a few K to get the van so I'll see what I'm like when I get there and decide..

Yeah - new section is a lot more ridden in. There was a lose coating of stones in places last year - hard to keep the power down on it.

I dont know the old route. Is it roundabout at M50 bridge. Up shogue lane to carpark. Then fireroad climb up to intersect near aerials?
There is a split in fireroad, left turn that ends up at barbwired gate. I assume thats old way. Something written on gate posts about the Beast of Kilmashogue 666. :D
It's from the roundabout under the M50, up the lane, left at the split in the fireroad, and ends at the old gatepost, where the Wicklow Way turns up that ramp on the right
