latest is that both Oisin and Cait got 2nd in the race, which was on the same course as last year - well done to both

Myself, Arek,Cormac, Oisin, Cait, Mel, and Ryan all showed up to race. Well done to all! Ryan won, Mel won, Cait and Oisin came second. I came second in Masters........ Ohh wait a sec, that was a dream !!! But I did get two punctures. Well done again, I hope you all got home safe.

It was a good day, wasn't really sure what to expect. The course was bone dry and very sandy(hate to think what condition my drivetrain is in now). It was fairly non-technical, with some steeps drops, which were a bit sketchy with a stong crosswind and kickers and a bit of grassy singletrack for good measure. There was no real climbs to speak of, so that meant there was no let-up anywhere on the course, kinda like Tymon park on steroids.
Conor and I had a pretty good battle until his puncture on the last lap.
I don't know is anyone else noticed, but a few of the leading masters took a wrong turn immediately after the start.

There seems to be a lot more grimacing than usual in those photos - looks like a tough race.

It was hot, dry and dusty alright. Not like usual wet and boggy Ireland.
