Ten days to go to the Wicklow 200, Ireland's Premier Cycling Challenge no less. Who's doing it this year?

Yep... counting down the days
Is there a Wicklow 20.0 option?

I'm signed up. Really need to spend some more time on the road bike in preparation now.
I did it the last 2 years, but will skip it this year since I've got racing in the UK coming up the 2 weekends after.... :(

Unfortunately was late and missed out on registration. Anyone droping out? Will take their spot.

I missed the registration too - but I'm doing it anyway. I'm just not taking advantage of their food-stops.

It seems judging from the hits on the Wicklow 200 forum that there will be a lot of non registered riders this year.

I'll be there. Bike arrived yesterday so looking forward to it.
Is everyone planning on doing their own thing on the spin or are we going to do a few miles together?

We might as well meet up and roll along together at the start anyhow.

Anyone got a preferred time? I'm good for anytime between 7 and 10.

The earlier the better. You'd want to have a good chunk of the distance done by 10am or it'll feel like a really long day.

I thought there was a specific time you had to sign on, like up until 7am and that you should arrive early. Maybe I got it wrong and it meant from 7am? Sounds like a very early start.

How would people feel about starting at 7am?

Yeah I don't mind. 7am is fine with me.

7am at the UCD sports centre then.
Can someone remind me why I'm doing this?

Can someone remind me why I'm missing two whole days of great weather and dry off-road trails to be spending 10 or so hours on tarmac along with 1500 other people? This better be fun.

Who's idea was this in the first place? I'm just a sheep and went with the crowd...

I tell you why , Its a desperate measure to counteract the increased unfufillment of fitness which you've been receiving lately - ie a chance to push yourselves over the edge just to get a tiny bit fitter for the NPS's
