the craic we had today on proper bikes on proper trails, Richie at the edge of insanity and very nearly taking me over the edge with him, Close, oooohh too Close........

Well, I had a close encounter of a different kind. Damn wasp flew into my helmet, buzzed around the vent for a nonasecond then stung me right in the forehead. Who'd think a thing that size could cause so much pain. Had to take all the pads out of the helmet to get it back on my swollen head :-(

Swelling is gone down now, but the throbbing hasn't stopped. Oh the throbbing!
