Hi, just curious as to your opinions on this bike. Its going for 500 which seems like a good deal?

Basically i wasnt planning on looking at anything else as I have ordered a Canyon 6.0 but this looks to be quite good although it doesnt have disc brakes and the forks are recon as oppossed to reba. The forks on this bike are new with receipt and guarantee and cost 300. to be honest i know next to nothing about disc brakes or forks as it has been a few years since i last used mountainbikes. the savings would be considerable though as the canyon will cost 1100 including pedals and delivery. any opinions much appreciated.

The Canyon is all new, has disc brakes, a much better fork and as far as I can see better components...


Keep with the Canyon

i'm not big on spanish but that biek only seems to have one front chainring, and its a frickin huge one at 44 teeth, the owner must live somewhere relatively flat and have legs like tree trunks. Also there's no front shifter so if you wanted the modern conveniences of 3 front rings like that then it'd cost you to upgrade. Also it has 8 speed transmission at the rear, not necessarily bad but nearly everything is 9 speed nowadays unless you're talking fairly low end stuff so again spares may be an issue in a year or two .. probably not but you never know.

It looks ancient compared to the Canyons & has no disc brakes.


Canyon is a good bike! Loads of them on the trails.
