Martin/Cormac - never mind the Park tonight - get up to 3rock and help the lads out by doing some trail building, there's plenty to be done
If I hear you've gone out on a spin and not helped out on the trails I'll be very annoyed...

What are you thinking Fergal - don't you know Martin works for the council? His butter-soft hands aren't made for this kind of work.
I hear he has "future-dad" duties to perform this evening too.

I'd love to help out up the rock this eve but I have collect me heavily pregnant misses (6 weeks to go!) after work at 6 and then get home for fecking 7 and back out the door for the spin at 7.30, even if I tried to get to 3 rock it will take from 7 - 7.30 to get across town! I'd never make it before dark!
I'm off work Thursday for hospital visit and I can head up in the evening if anyone wants to go then!

ok Martin, see who else you can rattle together for Thurs night, best thing you could do on Thurs is start disassembling / taking down the wood from MADjestic
as the lads should have the path cleared this evening
Right then Cormac, unless you have an excuse as good or better.......
Liam - you remember where the stream is at the bottom of the trail?
- idea is to cross the stream and somehow get over the big rock and onto the singletrack
See what you can come up with to get over the rock - as I doubt if you could move it - I think it's a monster - we could build a ladder up to it I guess but if there were sufficient smaller rocks to build a ramp up to it then that'd be more vandal resistant, anyway, if it needs a ladder see if we could possibly use some of those tree trunks that are lying around down there - thanks

Excuse, I don't need no stinking excuse..
Well alright I have one. After almost knee-capping myself during the marathon champs, I can just about walk in a straight line now. Not really up to clambering up the side of a mountain and lugging lots of lumber about. Will try to make thursday though, if they let me out of work on time.

you're not getting away with that brutal excuse....
you can just do some light lopping and branch removal so Cormac - 20 secs walk from the car, no clambering up hills, no heavy lifting.
Martin, I could get to 3Rock for about 7:30 on Thursday. Last week it was bright enough (for walking/working?) till about 8:30-8:45 as long as the tree cover as not too thick...I don't know the trails in 3Rock by name yet. Where is MADjestic?
