Anyone fancy it??
Thinking maybe do lap of Leadmines then big decent from Cathy Gallaghers.
Or even just Kindlestown and GOTD for bit of fun?
Something like this......

Liam, I should be around Sunday, Leadmines sounds good, haven't been that direction for a while and I haven't attempted Cathy's before so should be a good laugh (for everyone else)!
Right so, Leadmines it is.
Where are the other big bike people... Micheal, TomH, Steve, etc, come on poeple get the big bikes out.
I'm off to Bundoran for some Surf n' Stout

I might be able to make it Liam but i think my lack of fitness may hinder you on any uphill sections. So might just head down to Cloon to do my own thing at my own pace
No no, come along Micheal, sure Dec wont take offence to this but we'r not the fastest bikers in the club, and there isn't much climbing in Leadmines anyway.
Couple of little jumps in the woods at Leadmines too.

the leadmines is in bits leave it alone for a while..goobers have it wrecked..and everytime a herd of people go there at the weekend I get a complaint and if you don't think theres much climbing in the leadmines then you don't deserve to go there
Richie
hmmm, ok Richie.
Maybe Cloon is the best idea.
Goobers? That a south side phrase?
I recon leadmines still, we'll stay off the club track, fancy a crack at Kathy's, there's also two good, albeit it short runs across the road which are always good for a laugh, one is a very technical (by my standards) waymarked walking trail that no one ever walks, the other just a fun descent from the top of the hill to the trail from the gate on the Enniskerry road, anyway, not my spin so your call Liam, assume there'll only be 3-4 of us out anyway !

No ,Goober is an american term for a a Knob..theres only one person in the world who Trancends the title Goober and thats Don from EPIC..he gets the title in an Ironic fashion..
But like I say..there are climbs on the leadmines that will break even the toughest, the problem with the leadmines at the weekend is that it becomes over ran with walkers..
even the poxy horses have been on our track
Yeah, seems to be a lot more horse riders around lately, more competition for limited trails. Hope they haven't recked those epic built berms and switch backs, they'r so much fun.
I'm easy Declan, we'll start off in Leadmines and avoid anything that shouldn't be ridin.
If we have time and energy for more we can spin to somewhere nearby after trying your trail.
10am at Golden ball carpark for us people who have to drive over the south side first. (always an adventure)
Grand, we could also do the club course in reverse and perhaps do a bit of trail building to smooth out some of the overly technical turns that tend to catch people out, Richie likes that kind of trail building contribution!

very funny Declan, very funny..lets see what you guys can build before you start fcuking with other peoples trails..Fergal, Morgan are these really the type of people you want in MAD.
I have no sense of humour when it comes to dickheads who have contributed zero to the scene.
You think your funny do you, well you haven't seen funny. And don't even think for one minute that I'm alone in my enthusiasm for keeping arseholes like you 2 of the hills..show some respect for the effort put into the sport before you start taking the piss out of us that spend all our time making it something to be proud of.

my apologies Fergal and the decent members of MAD. This is usually a grand place to come but these pair have left a bad taste in my mouth.
Richie
Apologies Richie, I, as much as anyone appreciate the fact that it's the trojan efforts of yourself and numerous others, including Fergal, Morgan etc that grow the sport, there's just this sadistic element in me that needs to wind you up every now and again.............................
I'll buy you a few pints in Palmers some time, maybe Sunday ?
Did I miss something?? Why you getting upset Richie?
I am reasonably new to this sport but I have been contributing to trails for as long as I have been using them.
I do appreciate the work put in by people who have been building trails for longer than I have but I wouldn't bully other bikers besause of that position.

errr... I think you missed the fact that you were intending to make money off the trails and work people had already built Liam, with no consultation whatsoever with the committee in MAD or anyone else for that matter

just be aware lads that a lot of work goes on in MTB behind the scenes that you rarely even notice, and when people take the piss out of the efforts that are made then you should expect somebody to get annoyed
OK then, tell you what, throw me out of the club.
Bye!
Actually, can I have my €20 back as well, don't think i'm interested in being a member of this ass licking club anymore either !
There are appropriate media for discussing this, our club forum (may I remind you that this is viewable by members of the public) is not one of them.
