Drogheda.....

I've been injure since a few weeks, and i am back cycling this week end.


A quick advice how long do you recommmend it will take to go to Drogheda with my Canyon?


The thing is i need to go there with my bike and i don't want to take the

public transport,


I think i will take 2 hours?

What do you think?

Drogheda is a bit over 30 miles. You'll have to go through Skerries and Balbriggan as a lot of the old N1 is now M1 so you can't use it.


Not sure what your aversion to public transport is but Matthews Coaches run an hourly (half hourly at peak times) service to Drogheda from Parnell street. They'll let you chuck your bike underneath in the luggage compartment.


Costs around €12 return and takes about an hour.

Thanks for the tips, i will take a look at the Mattews Coaches.


Regarding the public transport it's not me it's my Canyon who refuse to be transported in a bus, he likes to go crazy on the road and in the trails. But this time it looks like it will have to go in the luggage compartment !!!!
