Where would be the most likely place to pick up some Maxxis High Rollers of a Friday? Was talking to Tom last night and he had met some dh heads down in Bree and they advised him that the high rollers were the way forward. Need all the help i can get......

You might pick up a pair in the Cycle Superstore (01 4632270). Don't stress too much about tyres though - people get way too caught up worrying about them.

Michael, I recon what you have on the bike at the moment will be more than up to the task !

yeah, you're used to how your tyres behave in different situations, you have to learn all that again for new ones.

Not a big deal.. not unless you've a race on the weekend ;)

good luck in it!!

Maybe they will, all I'm saying is I met a few Elites there on Wednesday and was chatting away when one of them asked if I had any other tyres aside from my current ones, I said I had a set of High Rollers at home in the shed.

The two of them were like 'definitely put them on, we're both running them and they are seriously well suited to this track and conditions' the way I look at is these lads know more about dh than I do so....

Yeah sounds about right Tom. Think ill make the investment and convert them to tubeless at a later stage. The superstore only have the ust ones

Get the UST ones and convert them with Ghetto. Thats the way I have my HighRollers and it works brilliantly.

Oh! It's GHETTO! No wonder I couldn't get my tyres to seal using this:
