View Full Version : Tuesday Night Phoeno SPIN
For all you north-siders who can't make it up the mountains during the week...
Phoeno spins are back! Just a bit of exercise really.
Won't have Martin to help me out this time as he has a new baby girl, Congrats man!
But anyone who cares to join us, just need decent lights, helmet and bike.
All welcome, just post here if your coming and meet me at main gates of park at 19:10 on Tuesday. Or if your coming from Castleknock end we can meet at white gate.

Hi Liam,
i'm up for it, i think... being a night ride virgin i'm guessing the Phoeno might be a good place to start? I have lights, never used them tho!
Alright Liam,
I'll be there. Not sure about 7.10 (pubic transport takes AAAAAAAAAAAGES from work) but I'll send a txt wen I'm on my way and I'll join ye if I'm late!

Hi Liam,
Is this open to club members only?? I'm a beginner in that I haven't been out for about 8 years but have been out before and was at the National Trails day on Sunday, which was great. I haven't joined as a member yet and don't want to hold people back as I might not be as experienced as other members?
Yeah Steve, come along no problem.
Grainne just cycle home and come straight out?
Keith, I don't mind beginners or future members coming along as long as its ok with the MAD committee. I'm sure Morgan/Fergal can clear this one up for us....

He can come along but he'll have to prove himself on the Papal Steps.
Keith, do you have a decent set of lights?

Hi Morgan,
I have a decent set of lights, well I think that they are decent!!
I might leave it until a week or two until I get a bit of fitness under my belt but was just wondering whether anybody could tag along.
Thanks.

kieth, the park is a walk in the park (doh)
very easy, and very flat! a few little kicks! nice place if you find it hard to get to the hills and your on the northside!
but the hills is where its at! you never get climbing legs in the park! no matter how much you try!
