I have a LI-ION battery and NIMPH battery, which is about 9 hours run time, but it won't be enough run time for the Relentless 24 in October. If anyone else runs these lights it would be a huge help to get my hands on another battery or two.

Entry is a very reasonable €20 for the full marathon (+€20 for day license if required) and €10 for the Fun Mini-marathon (license included!).

I've had a search on the forum and saw Altura mentioned a bit so I went and tried a few on in town at the weekend, alas they were all really short and the only one that was long enough (XL) was like a tent on me as I'm fairly slim. So does anyone have any recommendations for rain jackets to fit a 6'2" person?

I've been moved home from Scotland for five glorious months now and I'm still crashing with my parents. Do you know how hard it is to find a room to rent if you own a bike or two? Apparently they don't make garages anymore.

"Ah sure just lean your two grand's worth of bike up against the wall in the back garden, it'll be fine."

I can't be the only one having this problem! I hope not anyway.

The solution, I reckon, is to live with other people who like bikes too and would be cool with keeping them securely indoors. I'm not talking about performing open bike surgery on the kitchen table or leaning them against the TV whilst everyone else is trying to watch Mad Men or something. Just y'know, keeping them somewhere out of the way, but safe.

So yeah, if any of you find yourselves in the same situation over the next while and would be up for getting a place together, send me a PM. Don't really mind what area, but within pedalling distance of 3Rock would be nice. I'm no Nigella in the kitchen but I know how to work a dishwasher! :)
