Barnaslingan Car Park, Leadmines 
- Take the Enniskerry Road south through Stepaside
- Continue through Kilternan
- Palmers Golden Ball Pub is on the right (it's a good idea to park here and continue by bike.
- Pass Ambrose Glass motors on the left
- Continue through the next area of roadworks
- Take the left turn immediately after the roadworks (opposite a phone box)
- Barnaslingan Lane climbs steeply until it reaches Barnaslingan car park on the right.
- Alteratively, if you're cycling, you can continue along the Enniskerry road until you pass the Scalp Garage
- There is a gate on the left leading into Barnaslignan Wood
