Mountain Code
The following “do”s and “don’t”s are important for anyone who rides off-road
Do
- Wear a helmet
- Give way to horses and walkers
- Bring your litter home
- Close gates if you open them
- Have your bike in good mechanical order
- Have a windproof jacket, spare tube, pump with you
Don’t
- Go mountainbiking alone
- Trespass onto private land
- Damage fences or young trees
- Ride on ground that is in poor condition
