Races This Weekend
There are a couple of races taking place this weekend. For the students among you, UCD Cycling Club are running round 2 of the Intervarsity League this Saturday in Ballinastoe Wood, Co. Wicklow. On Sunday the 2006 downhill season kicks off with round 1 of the Plush Winter League at Moneyscalp, Co. Down. You’re encouraged to go along and compete or spectate at both events.

Not to forget the Intervarsity XC round organised by MAD’s own Nigel.
Of the MAD contingent, Nigel(UCD) was embroiled in a heated battle for 2nd / 3rd / 4th place before puncturing on the final lap, while I took 2nd for TCD.

thanks Morgan, I’m looking forward to getting in regular short n get fit spins too so MAD will be the top club at this year’s NPS.

winter downhill round 1 in moneyscalp culdn’t have been better, except forthe fact that i only got 5 hours sleep the night B4.
The great thing is anyone come and have a go, no matter what skill level.
