Spins this weekend

Saturday 30th
You’ve got 2 delightful options on Saturday,
1) The 5th Introductory Spin in Slade Valley with myself, Morgan, Judith and maybe more, depending on Mick getting out of bed…….meet at 10am out there.

2)For the non-beginners, Steve is going off into the wilderness on an epic adventure where you’ll encounter exotic wildlife, vast terrain and meet the natives. Alternatively he might just fly around somewhere local, who knows………..Meet him at the Yellow House at 10am to find out…..

Sunday 1st October
A return to the big Sunday spins, we’ll rerun the one we did to Djouce a few weeks ago. Minimum of stopping and faffing about, we might even tempt back some IMBRC heads for a return visit. Bring your fit and fast legs and enough to be self-sufficient.
Meet at the YH at 10am.

Happy biking,
Sean

    Hey,
Heres my number if there are any probelms 0861653925. Have been checking weather forecast and it looks absolutely horrible but theyre wrong more than right. If you send me your mobile number via email, I will send out a group text on the morning telling you if there is any point in getting up if it is just too miserable. stephen_scrivenerATyahoo.co.uk

Its never too miserable to go biking!
Most of the guys on the Intro spins are harder than you are…….

  3. Steve Says:

Oh harsh stuff, they must make you look like some very soft- supple material that you are then! Your mashed potato actually…

  4. Mick O'Dowd Says:

I take grave offence at being accused of not getting out of bed. I more often than not get out of bed on weekends, I just sometimes find myself doing so in the wrong town, and stuff…

  5. Fergal Says:

You got called mashed potato Sean - and Steve probably meant warm buttery mashed potato too!!!
I wouldn’t take that abuse lightly, whaddya gonna do - huh? huh? c’mon!
    Seconds out, round 2……ding ding!

  6. Paddy Says:

steve, you’re getting a prize for best blogger comment this year!

  7. Roddy Says:

First time I’ve ever heard of anyone being called a mashed potato although I have been known to call people pies, must be a Scots thing!

  8. Steve Says:

And like I always say, its better to be down here wishing you were up there instead of up there wishing you were down here….

  9. Steve Says:

Thanks all for showing up*! Just myself and Tom showed an absolutely horribly horrible day… Kinda wish I was like mashed potato and stayed in bed but im harder than the cover on a hardback book as everbody knows….

  10. TH99 Says:

it was a horrobly horrorful day alright, but it just proves how tuff we really are…speaking of horrible, i hate my brakes, they are magura louise, any suggestions tom

Did the Slade Valley Beginners go ahead?, I was on the way but tried to use my car as a hovercraft on wet stretch of road and ended up in a puff of steam. I was raging I did’nt ,make it

  12. Sean Says:

Not only did it go ahead, but it was (another) great success, loads of people out which was great to see….

  13. Anonymous Says:

so when’s the next one … I had myself all g-eeed up for Sat, it only ended up costing me €88 euro to get it towed outta the drink

  14. Sean Says:

Well that concludes our formal introductory sessions, but we’ll be orgainising beginner spins every few weeks, so keep an eye on the website for details
