]]> By: TH99 http://www.madmtb.com/wordpress/2006/12/28/saturday-30th-sunday-31st-and-monday-1st/#comment-4253 TH99 Sat, 30 Dec 2006 14:32:00 +0000 http://www.madmtb.com/wordpress/?p=649#comment-4253 Great spin this morning, after meeting at Palmers a posse of about 9 mad-e our way to the timber gate on your left out past kilternan and ascended the trail which ended at barna' car park, here we covered 2 nice loops of a track discovered by fergal earlier,<br/><br/> We then continued to the chimney stack at leadmines and got a group snap before looping back around to the fireroad and onto the epic course, this really is a great route and anyone who has yet to ride it should make it a new years resolution!,..we did 3? or so laps<br/><br/> Fergal then departed (the pace was too much for him ; ) and we climbed katy gallagher, shane impressing us all with only one dab!!..after some snacks and pics we attempted the descent down to fergals five foot drop..no takers for this yet ; )<br/><br/>The weather was perfect (worryingly so 4 dec !) and the improvement in the 'beginners' is becoming apparent which is great to see, combined with some of the new machinery they'll be coming along very well indeed, so keep up the good work guys, and thanks for showing us around fergal..<br/><br/>ps the pics will be up when i find out how to do so??
