yes ’twas an unfortunate series of events, nonetheless I will be back in the morn all things going well,a big thanks to all for the assistance last night and apologies for my selfish gloves,..

“Leave it on the mountain”? We should have done that with Tom’s bike last night. I’ve never seen such a catalogue of disaster. Maybe the missing bits will turn up over the next few weeks. At least everyone was good-humoured about it - you’d only get that in Ireland’s Premier MTB Club. The new trail is nice though - looking forward to getting it finished and working out a good way of getting back to the top. I have a plan…

Tom, Tom, Tom…..well what can I say, actually I think you got enough guff from us already and the story of the mechanical from hell is a long and torturous one so I think I’ll leave it “on the mountain”.

Sorry it took a while for me to get up to you but I blame Morgan for the “Ryan showed us this route recently - I think it’s this way, no lets go back, no turn around, maybe it’s this way” diversion.

I will say that you redeemed yourself in my eyes by making it from the Blue Light to Miltown is a lightning fast time - couldn’t even catch you in the car!

Myself and Steve were saying “nah, he couldn’t have made it this far already…” but fair play to ya.

Hope you get your bike sorted ok, it was the most unwell I had seen it in a while. …

A dig day up there is a great idea. The section that you are currently working on has great scope for up and downhill single track and it usually stays pretty dry in there.

Let me know what needs ot be done and I’ll hopefully get up there over the long weekend.

I have a Google map done-up to show where there’s potential for additional trails such as the new one we were on last night.

I’ll post it up next week and try work out a system where we can track what work has been done and what’s next to do, that way, if people can’t make a particular trail building day, they’ll know what’s to be done if they can make it up for a few hours work etc…

I’ll also try schedule an official trail build day (sometime after Wales trip)to get a load of us out, we can get a huge amount done in a day once we know what the plan is.
