What’s On?
Saturday
Howth has been deemed too exotic for the moment so we’re having a couple of spins in more familiar, well worn locations.
Conor is leading a spin around Kindlestown at 10am, meeting at the car park
There will also be a local spin, meeting at Taylors at 10am - we’re expecting to see several of our long-absent riders there.
Sunday
You’re also spoiled for choice on Sunday with a pair of awesome rides.
Meet at Glendalough lower car park for a ride up the Spink and down the Miners Track.
Alternatively, get yourself down to the Yellow House at 10am for a ride over Cruagh, Prince Williams Seat and down to Cloon.
Monday
On Monday we’ll be marking Robb’s return to Holland with a ride over Three Rock and down to to Leadmines, meeting at the Yellow House at 10am.
In other news, the club jerseys are in transit from Germany, so if you haven’t already paid for yours yet, please pony up right away.

Leading ? Am I allowed lead ? Cool !

Sunday should be good, though wouldn’t mind making the Sat up 3rock to see the face of total exhileration and relief and bring on-the-power-edness of Dr Jones aka codename S.X.Y. Tom.
…and the Morgan lad too - remember him?
An impressive absence from the more ‘rugged’ aspects of biking (I hear he still commutes in gnarly style) for our esteemed Club President could be counteracted by his multiple viewings of NWD 7, he could yet return more awesome than before he left for highly oxygenated secret freeride training in Barcelona, you’ll just have to go along to the spin and see…..

Just Karl and myself were brave enough for K-town in the mist this morning. Good craic though with a couple of butt clenching heart stoppers thrown in. And for those who want the stats:
Distance 18.8kms
Max speed 42.2kmph
The only downer was that it took me 1hr and 20mins to get home, damn M50!!
June 2nd, 2007 at 3:53 pm
yeah, M50 was killer, myself and Steve driven mental too.
Bloody great return to the trails for Tom, the amount of red stuff flowing from his knee after he was wrestled to the ground by the boneshaker was amazing, he just shrugged it off and brought on the power - the spirit of MAD incarnate!!!
Paddy near ruptured himself where a man should not be ruptured and his leg was no pretty sight either, but again, no complaints from Tough-as-boots O’Brien.
Shane retired early after his sprint up to Ticknock left his energy levels at zero - what a lightweight!
good spin all, misty fast and action-filled!
