good luck! I don’t know where you’re located, but here in the states if you lose your bike, it’s gone forever! I’ve lost three. Whoever got it probably isn’t selling it and planning to keep it. Look around. Nice bike, sorry…

Had my bike swiped on Monday, still raging was an early birthday preszie, didn’t even have untill the day (today) so I feel your pain. Does anybody have any idea of the numbers of bikes stolen in Dublin in any given period. Every person I talk to seems to have had a bike taken and I’m looking to get something done about it. Now that the minister for transport is a Green he should realy do something.
Not sure I could be held accountable for my actions if i got hold of the gits!!!! GERRRRRRRR

sorry to hear about your bike as well Diarmuid. I really don’t know the amount of bikes stolen, but I too know many people who have had one stolen.
I’m not sure what you could do with bikes at home other than insurance, massive locks, keeping it inside, etc. but there are lots of things that could be done in town. Secure bike-parking areas would be a start.
Start a thread on the forum on http://www.mtbireland.com and some others might help you with some ideas
