It was pretty frustrating knowing that just after coming out of the second single track section you are already 1:30 back on the leaders and your only 6 minutes into the race! Ahh, well - will have to do more CX races next year to get a gridding :)<br/><br/>Special thanks to Sean for giving me a lend of his CX bike. As Fergal mentioned, my hopes of doing well were a little dashed due to starting so far back on the grid. It was pretty frustrating knowing that just after coming out of the second single track section you are already 1:30 back on the leaders and your only 6 minutes into the race! Ahh, well - will have to do more CX races next year to get a gridding :)
