Congratulations to Graham Diamond who, thanks to hard work, fashion sense and general awesomeness, has been awarded the title of MAD Club Champion 2008! Congratulations also to Liam Phelan in third place and Steve Scrivener in second. They put in powerful performances in the icy conditions but couldn’t defeat His Gness.

Other awards on the day were:

• Most Awesome Racer – Melanie Spath
• Most Savage Spin – Ryan Sherlock
• Best Newcomer – Phil McDonagh
• Most Outstanding Contribution – Shane Geoghegan

There was also a special “Mattock of Appreciation” award for trailbuilding svengali Fergal J Kilkenny. A shameful “Worst Race Performance” award was presented to a humbled club chairman.
