The first Irish enduro championships took place at Bigwood, Newry county Down on 11th/12th august,  it was a cracking event that was hosted by Plushmtb who did a fine job all round.Madmtb were out in force and although there were many mechanical “incidents”  the gang loved it and are big supporters of these enduro’s It was a six stage event, deadly fast and technical stages that tested skills and bikes. The new Irish elite champ is Greg Callaghan (Oc tuning/pivot) who beat Glyn o’Brien and Joe Barnes for the title. The final round of the Gravity enduro series is in Carrick co. Wicklow on sept 8/9th.
