Bike Addiction Sponsor MAD for 2013

We are delighted to announce that Bike Addiction.ie have come on board as our technical and service sponsor for 2013. The guys will be supporting our club members at races all over the country as well as providing top-class overhauls and servicing to keep everybody’s bikes in winning condition.

Dave from Bike Addiction has over 20 years experience at the highest level of automotive repair and began the company with two other skilled mechanics in John and Kit.

Bike Addiction LTD began after identifying a niche in the Irish mountain bike scene, no one was attending events and offering Rockshox, Avid and Sram services.

“We traveled to the UK to undergo intensive SRAM training in their dedicated center so we could offer expert-level service to Irish mtbers. To add to this, we equipped ourselves with a fully fitted out mobile workshop with high quality Park Tools”

We supported all the rounds of the inaugural Irish gravity enduro series and this quickly established us as the goto people for suspension, brake and service issues before,during and after events. We also brought many reverb seatpost back to life with our full range of spares and expert know how in the most remote corners of Irish enduro courses.

The decision for Bike Addiction and Ireland’s Premier Mountain Bike Club™ to team up for 2013 was an easy one for both parties.

Our decision to sponsor MAD in 2013 stemed out of relationships formed at events in 2012. As the largest and oldest mountain bike club in Ireland, they are both extremely active and successful on all fronts of mtb racing. We felt MAD fitted in perfectly with our company profile and personal love of biking. We are riders first and foremost and have a healthy addiction to all things bike. Personally, I have raced the Mega Avalanche 3 times and have long been a huge fan of the enduro format.
We are looking forward to continuing to be an innovative and progressive company and building strong links with MAD members with our top class service deals and exclusive special offers over the year.
